Part 1:
Desolation
23k words. Enobaria, Johanna, Annie, Peeta, POV.
"We're all tired, and sick of each other," Peeta tries. "Once we're in District 2 proper we should have some breathing room."
Annie doesn't know how to reply, exactly. She wants to put into words what she's feeling, the exact combination of guilt and frustration and jealousy and anger and fear and slough it off onto another person, but how can she encapsulate years and years of things she's tucked away into the guise of happiness and steadiness now, and explain it to someone she's just gotten to know in the past weeks?
Part 1 explores what would happen if Johanna and Enobaria and Peeta and Annie had to rescue themselves from the Capitol prison, and the circumstances that made that necessary.
Part 2:
Dissension
28k words. Enobaria, Johanna, Annie, Peeta POV.
She takes a deep breath to try to calm down, but it's dizzying. She had done everything right. She had taken care to make sure she came back as Finnick remembered, to take care of herself as well as she could, that when she and Johanna were before Finnick at the same time, she would be the obvious choice. And yet somehow, Johanna won.
Part 2 follows the same 4 from making it to the rebel camp to the end of the war.
